A walk inside a 6ft x 6ft x 6ft hole in the ground, made as part of DIG Collective’s the Hole Story and available to participants only after the hole had been filled in. Part of Art Licks Weekend 2014. Scripted and recorded for The Demolition Project.

“That scent in your nostrils - do you recognise it? Fresh, slightly damp … fertile. A garden smell. The smell of earth … Listen. Can you hear the worms turning, building their own small castles beside you? Can you hear the grass growing? Or is that just the wind in the trees in the garden above you?”
